Angelina Newton

Angelia Newton is a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma, pursuing a degree in Marketing with minors in Leadership and Business Leadership. Growing up in Oklahoma City, she has always been inspired by the power of community-driven innovation and creative problem-solving. This passion fuels her career aspirations in the field of marketing.

Currently, Angelia is interning at Equipped Marketing, where she is training to become an account manager. In this role, she is learning areas such as geofencing, social media marketing, sales, and event management. She is also an active member of several UCO campus organizations, including the UCO College of Business Ambassadors program and the UCO Broncho Business Leadership program where she focuses on social media marketing, event planning, and marketing research. Angelia is also a graduate of the UCO leadership program known as the Leaders of Tomorrow.

Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Angelia is deeply committed to community service. With over 130 volunteer hours, she has contributed to initiatives such as the UCO Big Event, Wings, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and Hopefully Yours. Overall, her goal is to grow as a leader in marketing through servant leadership, while fostering community and driving innovation within the industry.
